Workout of the day

This time I am combining ideas from Climbing magazine issue 332 article “Workout Workshop” by J.P. Whitehead and article in DPM Climbing called How to Train Strength Using Your 1 Rep Max.

20 min stretching. 40 min bouldering warmup.

One arm traverse (training reactive power). 10-15 moves long traverse, 5 times each hand.

Strength exercises (90% of 1RM, 3-5 reps, 5 sets):

  1. Biceps Curls with 25lb (each hand)
  2. Weighted Pull-ups with 30lb
  3. Standing Rows with 25lb (each hand)

90% of 1RM because I am now training strength and not endurance.
